Faith is confidence in what we hope for, and assurance that the Lord is working, even when we don’t see it with our human eyes. Our vision is short sighted, we do not see the full picture or the holistic view of our lives. The Lord who knows the end from the beginning, has planned our lives in a divine fashion, and nothing, no man can thwart His plan or what He had purposed for us from the beginning of the world.
Though the wait may be long, place your faith, trust and hope in the Lord, who has never failed you. If you believe, you will see the glory of God. Without faith, it is impossible to please Him. It is by faith we are saved, it is by faith our sins are forgiven, it is by faith we accept the Lord Jesus as our Savior, it is by faith we overcome each day, and it is by faith we will enter the eternal gates to live with Him forever.
Faith comes by hearing, by hearing the word of God. When things come to a standstill, when the happenings in your life are beyond your comprehension, get back to the word of God and seek His face. He will place things in the right perspective, honor your faith, and reward those who diligently seek Him. By faith, you will see His work in your life until He receives you into glory.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6
