Salvation is a gift. Salvation cannot be earned, bought or borrowed. Your holiness, righteousness, good works or morality cannot account for salvation, because, all mankind has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. In the light of His presence and in the light of His word, our righteousness and good deeds are as filthy rags.
It is by the amazing grace of God, this gift of salvation is extended to you. The choice is yours to make. Would you accept the gift that the Lord so graciously offers you today? There is no other way man can go to the Father but through Christ Jesus, who is the truth, the way and the life. There is no mediator between God and man but Christ.
Through the cross of Jesus, because of the blood Jesus shed for you, you can be free from the bondage of sin, death and Satan. He made a way for you to spend eternity with Him. You’ve got nothing to boast, not your good works, not your righteousness, but the cross and the blood of Jesus. With Him, you can overcome the world just as He did!
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
