Walk In Humility!

Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: But the proud he knoweth afar off.

Psalm 138:6

The Lord is Almighty, the creator of the universe and all that’s therein, He is seated on the throne, high and lofty, yet He reaches down to worms such as us so that we may experience His goodness and righteousness. He is the king exalted high above the heavens, yet He is humble to love and guide us every step of the way. There is no partiality or variance that can be found in Him based on a person’s skills or social status.

He is close to one who is of a broken heart and to one who has a contrite spirit. He knows the proud from afar off, even if he tries to hide his intentions and attitude to the human eye, the Lord sees him through and through. Through this path of humility He has laid out for you, wait patiently and walk upright before Him because He understands when no one else does, He is with you when everyone else has left. Humble yourself under the mighty hand of the Lord, and He will exalt you in due time.
